5th in a series! Drew this months ago, wanted to colour something, scanned it, and here it is! What do you think of the colour? I used dark compliments to shade instead of black this time but I'm not really sure if you can tell. Can you? Let me know.
Anyway, she's a mild-mannered archaeology student who finds a magic (something) that gives her powers and a scant costume! And she protects the common man and junk, she fights corporations yeah, I know. Also, there's a hidden grove where all the extinct megafauna still live (not dinosaurs, but giant beavers and mammoths and junk) and she rides a giant, magic bear. Someday, I will reveal the bear. Someday.
The complimentary colours are working much better than the black shading. Try to play with warm/cool a bit (yah, I know that's more difficult in digital at first) and remember that whites show up as the colour of the light source -- with that very warm yellow-orange light, the white should be tinted a little to the yellow.
I'm interested in the grove full of mega fauna (giant beaver seems so Canadian, after all), but I'm most interested in discovering which Aboriginal people wore shoes like that.
I like the pose and the anatomy looks very good I'd suggest using some darker shading in places as it looks a little flat here and there, and maybe putting some more detail in her hair Hope that helps!
