love the colours on the figure but is he standing in front of a spongy wall? looks like you've put in a shadow behind him so I don't know what to make of it heh.
overall it's tight, the contrast between the colouring styles help the figure pop out a lot.

Um -- just one question:
Where the fuck is Traditional Colour for Comics coming from? There was a traditional illustration class, which, combined with Maxine's desired children's book illustration course added up to a lot of hours where you aren't being prepared for the field you guys wanna work in.
Granted, I know I've been gone for some time, but I know Ty wouldn't have agreed to wasting your time with an approach to colouring comics that's been obsolete for over 15 years.
You guys should be on Photoshop NOW, learning how things are done NOW. I suggest you start asking for the training you're paying for or get a refund for the courses, like last semester's Intro to Digital Media, which wasn't the program content I wrote the government outline for and was a waste of your time and money.
The more I hear about what's going on since I left and now that Ty's washed his hands of dealing with Maxine's idiocy the more concerned about how you guys will be prepared for the industry.
I hate to be a downer in response to fine work, but you have a year and less than a semester before you're supposed to be looking for work.

Supposedly we're getting to retake that digital media course with its intended curriculum in third year prior to the photoshop colouring and lettering crash course. We'll see!

I still have no idea where Maxine came up with the idea to hire someone who only knew InDesign and nothing about comics, Photoshop or Illustrator to teach that.
The point was to allow you guys time to be comfortable with the technology before you have to put portfolios together next year. Part of what drove me out (as well as Ty based on our conversations) was maxine's complete and willful ignorance of what training and skills you guys need to get real paying work. It's nice that you're having fun in this class, but it's bullshit. You guys are paying real money for career training and you're getting arts n' crafts instead. She didn't listen to me or Ty, she might only listen if her students are serious about not returning.
I guess the real question is whether you guys want a decent shot at paying gigs when you get out of there.
